Hello world (or more likely 10% of the people we gave this website to)! We recently quit our jobs with the intent to move from Philadelphia, PA to Denver, CO. With no jobs lined up, we’ve decided to spend some time traveling before we officially land in Denver. Quick background, we are both civil engineers, Pat worked for the City of Philadelphia in the Streets Department and Jess worked for a private land development civil engineering consulting firm. We met in Philadelphia through a recreational soccer league. Fast forward 4+ years and we have decided to relocate and try Colorado for a bit (where Jess grew up). In July 2019 we moved all of our stuff in a 26-foot truck to Jess’ parents’ basement. We flew back to Philadelphia to pick up the car (with all of our camping stuff) and set out on a US/Canada road trip adventure. This portion of the adventure wrapped up in the middle of October as the weather started to turn on us. We regrouped for a couple weeks and then flew to Bangkok, Thailand to start our adventure in Southeast Asia! We are also planning to travel to Australia and New Zealand. We invite all those interested to follow along with our journey!
